I had this happen, I was talking to my wife about how excited I was that I got the water book. She was confused until she saw the cover and said, "Oh, its about beer, that makes sense."

Exactly     She's actually really supportive of it but is dumbfounded I spend so much time reading about it.  The kids are just dumbfounded.

I was dropping my son off at a friends house to spend the night, and wanted to meet the parents. When we pulled up, I saw brewing equipment in the garage, and immediately asked the dad about it. My son turns to his friend, and says "Let's go. They're gonna be here for hours talking about beer."
