pre conference events
« on: May 16, 2012, 11:35:29 am »
Hi everyone, if you are going to the NHC in June, come early and see the sights!  We have a bunch of pre-conference events planned - if you are thinking about joining a tour, sign up today, some of the tours have already sold out and the others are getting close.

For those with just the social package for the conference, check out some of the other events we have scheduled within walking distance of the hotel.

wife and I have been eyeing the "Washington Wine & More" but I really want to see a conference seminar schedule first.  Already signed up as available to judge/steward, and I don't want to miss some of the seminars.  I guess we'll see.

cheers--

The seminar schedule should be on the website by the end of next week.

OK, so the week in question has come and gone and it's getting late in the following week...any update on when the seminar schedule will be set?

thanks--

They've sent it out to the committee, so I know it's done.  AFAIK, we're waiting for the AHA web team to get it online.

By the way, has anybody heard anything new from the bjcp, regarding the Wednesday seminar or the judging assignments?
I emailed Ted H last week and have not heard back.

I emailed him about the reception.  He sent me a pdf that was supposed to be posted "real soon".  All it had, though, basically reiterated the meager info on the BJCP website.  No details or info about registering.
