What's Brewing This Weekend - 12/7 Edition
« on: December 05, 2012, 11:22:53 am »
It's going to be a gorgeous weekend here in SoCal - mid 70's and no rain. (Last week, I might as well have been living in Seattle!)

Saturday - I'm leading the Falcons in a tasting of Holiday beers at the world famous Stuffed Sandwich. We've done this tasting for over 20 years at this point and it's always great. Last year (or two years ago) we had some 1992 Samiclaus.

Sunday - I gotta get to brewing!

Watching airlock bubbles and raking leaves here.  Will probably also keg up the dark strong that's sitting in a fermenter.

Not planning on brewing this weekend.  May go kill a tree, though.  And spend some quality time with the missus.

That's cool.  How long did it take to collect them?

I'm doing the annual club camp-out brew-a-thon this weekend.  Our club will be brewing 24 hours (or more) straight starting Friday at 9pm.  Anybody near Dade City Florida is welcome to come and brew or observe a lot of brewing.

Doing another batch of Denny's Rye. Brewed it a couple months ago for a friend, who ah... didn't get any because I drank it all. XD

I'm only 4985 vials away from this  ;D ( not a lot of place in the Northeast sell WL yeast )

I'm brewing a Munich Helles on Sunday starting at 6am so I can fit it in around other events ( mostly kid related, cub scouts, etc ).

Thankfully the Pats are playing Monday night this week.

Dave

I'm hoping mine has become unstuck and finished so I can keg it.

Share your recipe?

I may also keg my Belgian Blonde and what became a Belgian Imperial Stout when I pitched the wrong yeast...  Will have to see if those are ready.

I think I've had one of these before. I think it was called "porter" or something like that. :)

Do you have a recipe for this yet? I'm curious how to approach this.

No brewing this weekend, but I finally emptied 3 kegs last weekend. So I can finally keg my stout and a couple saisons that have been done for a few weeks now.
