Wursthaus Schmidt is in Reading Terminal Market.  They have a decent selection of German goodies as well.

The normal rate at the Convention Center Garage is $30, so we're looking at $15 a night.  Woot!
Well...I woke up this morning and I got myself a beer

That's damn cheap for city center parking! (I remember having a heart attack when the Falcons last travelled to SF for an Anchor CA Homebrew Club of the Year party. Fletch parked his truck at the hotel and the fee worked out for an "oversize" vehicle (aka heavy duty pickup) at ~$70 per night!)

to be fair, parking in SF is redickulus. I don't cross either bridge in my car unless I am headed to the airport. There is parking at the east bay bart stations for 3 bucks a day.

true, I don't even think that Chicago or NY match SF for parking prices.

This just made my airfare and airport parking more expensive than driving, and I could have brought some beer too!!!   GGRRRR!!!

On the flipside, though, I will be home an hour after my flight takes off instead of the 6-7 hour drive with a hangover  :-[

I bet anything bigger than a Yugo is considered an oversized vehicle.

Someone yesterday paid $560,000 for 2 parking spots in Back Bay of Boston yesterday, that were being auctioned off by the IRS.

$35 for a half hour made me shake my head. Garage in midtown Manhattan. I was on foot.

Don't know hotel rates.
