little more detail on how you got away.  i mean, what happens if i go to pick up a bottle of some simple german lager yeast and it has been infiltrated by chico.  its not like i am being attacked by zombies or anything but always good to have a battle plan

In that scenario I think you'd be OK. The German yeast are going to kick the Chico out so that they can maintain the purity of their culture.
