The styreen packing peanuts from Austin drive me freaking wacko,
man I hate those things.

I prefer the air filled cells from the Northern Brewer soooo much better.

The trash factor probably does not matter to you folks... :o

+1

I had to unpack a Cellar Classics wine kit from Austin last week and it took me 5 minutes to ladle out the styro peanuts just to get to the kit. >:(
Just brew it...

Rebel Brewer is the best I have found. It is a "local" shop for me so I can go with ground shipping and still get it in like two days. Other than that Rebel Brewer, has good selection of grains and hops, with a lot of information on the website of each batch of hops. Tom is pretty cool guy to chat with also.

Cynmar, not a HBS, ships with starch based packing peanuts. They dissolve in water and you could even mash them. I’m not sure how food grade they are but wouldn’t it be cool to brew a packing peanut beer?

hopsdirect.com or freshops.com for malt  ;) ;D

www.northernbrewer.com or www.morebeer.com for most other stuff, though lately I've been gravitating toward rebelbrewer.com - lots of great stuff and close enough to me that shipping isn't an issue...

I like Midwest Supplies, but I shop elsewhere too.  MW goes out of their way sometimes so that puts them on top in a general way.

If you are in the Eastern part of the country, Karps is great. Good selection, prices, and reasonable shipping. ;)

I've ordered from Northern Brewer, Austin, and Rebel Brewer.  For me it's Rebel hands down simply because they have the best selection and price.  They don't offer flat (and fast) shipping, but it's still only about 2-3 dollars more.  It's worth it when you look at the variety they offer.  However, I'm starting to buy grain in bulk locally or from North Country.  Bulk hops is usually Fresh Hops.
