Retrieving Recipes from the Brewing Assistant App
« on: July 13, 2014, 10:12:42 am »
I've developed several recipes using the Brewing Assistant app.  I recently began transitioning the recipes off my phone in order to have the info backed-up in a separate location.  I'm sure you can guess where this is heading... I busted the screen on my phone before I could grab all of the recipes.  The phone still works, I just can't see anything.  As a result, I've been able to grab items (photos, music, etc.) off the phone and put them on my computer, but I didn't see any info that looked like it was related to the Brewing Assistant app.

Is there a way to grab my recipes and put them on my new phone and/or computer?  Can my carrier transfer the information like they would your contacts? Any and all help is appreciated.

Usually, you can plug the phone into a USB port on a computer and view it as a drive.

denny, thanks for the reply.

that's actually what I did in order to pull my photos off of the phone; I just didn't see any info or folders that looked like it was related to the app.  I thought maybe it had a random file name that I wasn't recognizing, but still haven't figured it out.
