« on: June 15, 2010, 11:48:59 am »
I catch a plane tonight, so we'll get this kicked off..

What's brewing? For me, oh hell, for me, no brewing, but plenty of beer!

Have fun! (we know you will), we'll pray for your liver.

Someday... (I'll make it to an NHC) In the meantime...

...I'll be brewing my summer ale - this time with Brewers Gold as the finishing hop instead of Cascade; been wanting to try this hop after a friend did a multi small-batch single hop experiment and this hop was a stand-out during tasting.

I'm about to mash in on a 5 gallon batch of old ale which I'm brewing with a pound of dark candi syrup.

Next year I hope to make it to the NHC...

Hope to get up early Saturday and beat the 90 degree heat and brew Mike McDole's Janet's Brown Ale.

May be doing a schwarzbier this weekend.  Have a Helles and APA fermenting presently.  Will probably be moving the Helles to a bright tank for aging.  Have a keg of Hefewiezen that just won't seem to blow.  Will give it my best shot, to make room for the APA in a couple of weeks.

A small IPA, still tinkering with it but one way or the other the burner is firing up tomorrow.
