La Boca de Fuego margarita
« on: November 13, 2009, 07:30:53 pm »
My step daughter and her boyfriend taught me this one.  It's great to serve anytime but especially when serving mexican food.  Basically I take a bottle of fine tequila.  I like Patron Silver.  You take two or three habanero peppers, cut the tops off and toss them in the bottle to steep.  It's best to wait a couple of days to allow the flavor and hotness to permeate the tequila.  You then use your favorite recipe to make a margarita.  I like to use Grand Marnier.  This stuff can be hot but is very tasty.
Yeast Starters: none
Primary: Piney the Conifer
Secondary: Pliny the Elder, Scottish Wee Heavy
Bottled: Undead-Guy Ale, Habanero IPA, Belgian Tripel IPA, Blind Pig, "Island Zombie" Ale, Apple/Rasp Hard Cider
