Well dang. I hadn't heard that he passed. What wonderful music he made. One of those who just sounds like home.

I've been listening to John Prine. I hear he isn't doing well, so here's hoping he pulls through.

Otherwise, I've been listening to Shel Silverstein, Julliete Gréco, Jaques Brel, and Leonard Cohen.

Another singer a friend got me into is Esther Rose. Lovely voice and charming songs.

I was on a big podcast kick years back, but I got an Audible subscription a couple years ago and that is the majority of my listening now. It makes up for all the reading I used to do that I don't have time for any more. I just finished the Andromeda Strain, and I'm about 1/4 of the way through The Stand (so I should be finished by Christmas  ). Working in a hospital right now, I'm a bit shocked at how close The Stand lines up with current events.

Music wise, I've been listening to a lot of old Sabbath, and newer stuff that sounds like Sabbath (Uncle Acid & the Deadbeats, Electric Wizard, Witchcraft, etc.)
