Plumbing a hopback into a Grainfather G30
« on: April 04, 2021, 09:35:19 pm »
Hi, all.  I have the Grainfather G30 Connect and a Morebeer hopback (no longer sold).  The hopback has the wort-in on top and the wort-out on the bottom under the false bottom.  I have male quick disconnects on both and am trying to figure out the best way to plumb it in between the Grainfather and the Grainfather counterflow wort chiller (CFC).  If I don't need the hopback, I would like to use the CFC as it normally connects to the Grainfather, if possible.  Thanks in advance for your help!  Cheers.

Would alternating male and female camlock fittings work?  Then you could plug the hopback inline when you want to use it, and connect the line back together easily when you don't.
