Has anybody used Whiteout yeast by Imperial
« on: June 24, 2022, 09:39:49 am »
Greetings,

Going to be brewing a witbier and was thinking of trying Whiteout yeast by Imperial.   Anyone here have experience using it?

Thanks
Some day we'll look back on this and it will all seem funny

I used it last year. It's one of the Hoegaarden yeast variants. Leans more towards softer phenolics. If you like the yeast profile of Hoegaarden then it's a good choice.

I kept reading about slow fermentation, I'm down to 1.010 on day 3.  Granted the yeast manufacture date was 6/20/22, maybe why I had such fast results.
