Bourbon Barrel Beer Dispenser
« on: June 16, 2022, 03:30:39 pm »
I had a 30 gallon barrel sitting in the garage collecting dust and getting in my way so I decided to make this from it. Patio bound for warm weather parties!
I’ll post a few more

That's pretty sweet! How are you handling the CO2?

I cut the barrel head off in between the top two bands. Drilled a hole so I could insert the jigsaw blade. I will use that hole and feed the gas hose through. I just didn’t have enough room to place a 5lb co2 bottle inside with the keg. Will also strap the co2 bottle to the rear of the barrel to avoid any mishaps. I did find a 2-1/2lb size but it is expensive and I did this on the cheap. I already had everything I needed except the black pipe.

Thanks for the compliments!!

Nifty, do you have anything like a trash can holding ice and keg?

I do. Put a trash can in and 3 cans of expandable foam between staves and trash can. Also have a small drainage valve on the bottom of barrel made possible by having casters attached.

Very nice. I wish I had an old barrel lying around. I have a 60gal blue plastic drum, not cool.
