So, not June but October.

And not the east coast or midwest but Denver.

And concurrent with GABF. That's gonna be a BIG party if true.

well that sucks.  I live in Colorado and I go to GABF, but to have them together is a horrible idea.....in my opinion.

I think more details will follow. Will it have it's own space? Will AHA members get access to GABF at a reduced price? I have no idea. Many Things need to be clarigied.

More people were at San Diego than Pittsburgh, but not to  numbers from the Before Times. Another thing that Covid has screwed up. Right now HomebrewCon is not sustainable

I'm reserving judgment until there are more details.

Yeah, I definitely want more information. I heard someone mention this Wednesday night but didn't know what they were talking about then either.

October in Denver?  I am guessing the snow will keep some away.  If they can drop prices a bit, and I can get my wife on a plane, maybe.  I have always wanted to check out Denver, so this might be a good excuse.

I like Denver in October. My wife and I have begun three vacations from there after doing GABF.
I have no idea how this will work though.

passed.

That's one of many details yet to be worked out, it seems. I get the impression they have a concept and are still working out how to implement it.

One would hope that the powers that be had a lot more than a "concept" before dropping that bombshell. Like you, I have massive reservations about this, but will listen to their pitch. Very concerned about how this will affect club night.
