Mangrove Jacks M31 Yeast
« on: June 28, 2023, 07:16:59 am »
I somehow recall that there was a thread about Mangrove Jacks M31 Yeast quite a while back, but I cannot find the thread on the Forum .  Just for grins I picked up a couple sachets of it at Homebrew Con and was debating about using it in my Tripel.  I normally use Wyeast 3522 Ardennes strain and finish it off with Safebrew Abbey Ale BE-256 to get the gravity to where I want it when 3522 slows down.

I am wondering what your opinions are on M31?  I may or may not use it but I like the idea of not having to make a starter with 3522 when I brew the beer.   Guess I am getting a bit lazy in my old age!  BTW I do like BE-256.
