That's excellent!
How did you hook up with The Nook, for your debut?

the Nook is the "premiere" beer bar in town, at least for now. And if we want to sell beer there we have to launch through them. Its a pretty good place though.

As far as the electric kettle goes, I will post pics next week when I have the chance. I promise. The electric ketttle is awesome. It heats up about 3Xs faster than gas. I have two elements in my BK and if I run just one I get a very steady boil with no boil over. No wort scorching either. I was really worried about wort scorching and boil overs but it just hasn't been a problem. I am going to do the same thing on my home system as soon as I get a chance. I love it.

Fantastic, Keith.  Congrats a millions times.  Sounds like you're having a blast and making great beer.  You'll be right up there with the big dogs of craft beer in no time.

I haven't had the time to check the rest of the forum much. But tell him that the elements we are using kick gas in the nuts!  ;D My partner is the one who set up the electric kettle so I honestly don't know much about what went into it. But I can ask him.

Congrats!

Add another request to see some pics, when you get the chance to do so.

If you could post some details it would be awesome. We're all-electric but with only one element in a 5 bbl kettle bringing it up to a boil is painful. Unfortunately, I don't think there's anything we can do about it - the circuit is maxed out as is.

Yes I am very happy to hear that 2 elements can do just fine with 55 Gal.
I am planning to have 6 elements in about 180 gal BK.
I have dedicated 300 Amps 240 V transformer for the brewhouse.

I would be more then interested to know your electric set up.

By the way Congrats majorvices.

So the event was quite a success. We ended up having to have the distributor pick up more beer about 2 hours after the event started. I knew they hadn't ordered enough beer.  ;) Already have a few local restaurants requesting kegs.

Oh man, I'm soooo jealous. I'm stuck behind a desk while you're brewing beer and selling it! Maybe I'll be there someday.
