Add about two feet to that and that's what my yard looks like right now. Kind of weird having so much snow after the past few mild winters in New England

It’s weird, because we haven’t had any mega storms and the ground was bare at times due to thaws and rains, I haven’t felt that this has been a big snow winter but I heard even before yesterday’s storm that Worcester, MA has had more snow than any other city in the U.S. this year.

Overall it has been a warm, dry winter here in Denver. This week it has been very cold and dry. I think the high here was 30F today with temperatures down around 10F at night.

There have been no monster storms but it has turned into a snowy and cold winter the last few weeks. Pretty though.

-13 degrees air temp in KC area this morning with a couple of inches of snow. I've been trying to keep our 2 barn cats, chickens and wild birds alive. It has been under 20 degrees for at least 12 days now. This a lot colder than normal for the Heartland but Oklahoma and Texas was hit worse with ice and snow then us. We now have rolling blackouts of power on purpose to conserve energy.
Stay warm Brothers and Sisters and watch out for the animals!

My thermometer said 16*F when I got up this AM. The airport’s said 12*F. ~1/4” of snow.

Meanwhile, in RI the temps stayed above freezing all night, and it got into the 50's this morning. Good thing, we got over an inch of rain. If it were snow we would have had at least a foot (on top of the close to 2 feet I still have on the ground), and it would have been a complete whiteout during the AM commute.

Here in Des Moines, IA we started the morning at -17F.  Actual temp, not "feels like".  We are up to 7F this afternoon and we should be continuing up as the week goes on.

The prediction is for 36F on Tuesday next week. Looking forward to getting rid of some snow.

Spring in New England: this is today. Last week I was grilling in shorts and a tee shirt.

We're the opposite....hot and dry.  They've already started issuing fire warnings.  Earliest I've seen in the 50 years I've lived here.

We actually really needed this, we were hot(well warm) and dry this spring, we were in a draught and has fire warnings.

I was going to say the same thing for Des Moines.  In the past month we've have been below zero, close to 90F, have had red flag - no burning days and it's snowing south of us today.   ::)
Welcome to Spring in the Upper Mid-west.  We are getting a lot of green outside, so that makes it better.
