I liked the Power Puff Girls, not that there's anything wrong with that......Mojo Jojo was a great villain.

My kids would occasionally watch that one and I thought their voices would make my head explode.  How anybody could listen to that show is beyond me.

Phineas and Ferb

Out of all the cartoons my kids watch that's probably my favorite.  Although I can sit through Backyardigans too.   ;)

A few years ago typing that would probably have made me want to kill myself.  But I've adapted.   ;D

Am I the only one that liked Animaniacs? I could truly relate to Slappy the Squirrel.

Love Animaniacs...a great homage to the glory days of WB animation.  Great stuff.
An old friend of mine directed quite a few of those episodes, as well as "Pinky And The Brain".

The influence of things like the classic cartoons (especially the Warner cartoons), Laurel & Hardy, The Three Stooges, and other mainstays of 1950's/60's television have left quite an influence on a generation of kids who came of age and became the movers and shakers of the entertainment industry.  And the influence shows.
(Animaniacs is a great example...the producer was Steven Spielberg)

Huh?

Quote from: Wikipedia
Clay-animated films were produced in the United States as early as 1908, when Edison Manufacturing released a trick film entitled The Sculptor's Welsh Rarebit Dream. In 1916, clay animation became something of a fad, as an East Coast artist named Helena Smith Dayton and a West Coast animator named Willie Hopkins produced clay-animated films on a wide range of subjects. Hopkins in particular was quite prolific, producing over fifty clay-animated segments for the weekly Universal Screen Magazine.

Not the same, but back in the day there were some awesome cartoon movies.... Fritz the Cat (though it didn't hold a candle to the original R Crumb comic strip), Who Framed Roger Rabbit, are a couple that come to mind.
