go back and get it! the Glencairn glass is a great whisky glass and would work fine as a small tasting glass for beer. the idea is that (like a brandy snifter) the bulb shape concentrates the volatile aromas.

k, so I want to use this brandy snifter, but all I have right now is a wheat beer(Harpoon white ufo).

I make videos on youtube reviewing beers. Would I look like an idiot using a brandy snifter for a wheat beer?

Only if you think you'd look like an idiot doing it. A small brandy snifter is a great beer tasting glass because the bowl concentrates head and aroma. Just work on your swirl and sniff technique so you emulate this guy:

and not a 12 year-old huffing paint thinner. :)

Picked this up from the dollar store today.

Would you call this a pilsner or a pint glass? Or something else?

I did a google image search, to find something that looks similar and I found something called the milk shake pilsner glass.

Looks like a nice all-purpose glass that'll work well for a variety of brews.

Thanks for the response.  It seems like it's not really called anything specific.  I drank a witbier out of it last night and enjoyed it.  I guess that's all that matters!

Technically, it's only a pint glass if it holds at least a pint :)

I'd call it a variant on the no-nick pint glass.
