The stay-at-home orders and social distancing measures during COVID-19 have created a challenging environment for businesses around the world.

Retailers, like our local homebrew supply shops, are finding themselves in situations where the ability to serve customers is becoming more challenging by the day, and in some cases completely impossible.

The American Homebrewers Association is facing its own challenges with the cancellation of the National Homebrew Competition First Round, the biggest beer competition in the world.

How You Can Help

The American Homebrewers Association (AHA) has set up a “pay it forward” program that empowers homebrewers to support their local homebrew shops and the American Homebrewers Association during these challenging times.

Visit the Homebrew Supply Shop Directory on HomebrewersAssociation.org.

  1. Select your state, and see the list of shops who serve homebrewers in your area. Under each shop you will see a green button that says “Support This Shop.”This will bring you to a page where you can join the AHA (or renew if you are a current member).
  2. We’ll send $5 from every AHA membership sale to the shop you selected.

By participating in this program you are not only generating revenue for your local shop, but helping the American Homebrewers Association continue serving homebrewers across the country and around the world.
