I see a flag through the back window. Look a little closer. I think it is real. :o

I agree. There are reflections in the windows. You can see the American flag pole in the upper right corner of the rear glass. It's real.

Several details missed that give it away.

Paul

Like the Prius on top of  monster truck wheels for instance.  ;)

Sadly, I've seen vehicles in person that were just as unlikely so the Prius wasn't an immediate dead giveaway.  Ever see a monster Ford Pinto?  I have.  Rebuilders are nuts and I wouldn't put anything past them.

I used to know a group of guys who cut up old bicycles and welded the frames together to make 70+" bikes and then ride them around town.  Those kids grew up and got bigger tools and paychecks.   :D

Paul

I have seen a monster citation, a monster dodge colt. and my best friend made a bike at one point that you needed to mount from the second story window. It was a hell of a tirck getting down off it.

:D.  The ridiculous nature of it all just made me laugh.

I was behind a Prius today and thought to self...how can anyone see out that back window anyway?

I don't think they can...

I thought that as well, but I got one as a rental once while our car was in the shop, and the visibility is actually pretty good.

;D

The American flag is not in the rear window. The red cross on the other flag is not in the rear window. But you can clearly see the sticker through on the car's right side window, so you should be able to see flags as well. Also, if you look very carefully you can see a reflection of a hippy in the right turn signal.

I'd prefer to see the monster wheels on TOP of the Prius... ;D

I'd have a prius in an instant if it costs under 20K. I have to drive 30 minutes just to get anywhere. I do have a motorcycle and can get 40+ mpg on that but hard to pick the kids up from school on that.

WTF? Just because it's "California's leading cause of smug" doesn't mean it's not a nice car. My brother-in-law has one. It's comfortable, reliable and gets great mileage. Get over yourselves. It's not like it's a Yugo.

Anyway... Pretty amusing mod.

Someone worked hard to get that thing on that chassis and they did a good job. I'm sure there's nothing hybrid about it anymore.

Find me another picture and I might believe it is not photochopped. But as a veteran graphic designer of 20+ years I am spotting several flaws.

Sorry, not important enough to me to look for it. It appears to be real and that opinion is shared by a friend of mine in the graphics business.

Edit: I should mention that I don't think that the drive train is in any way from a Prius. It's just the body.
