I've got an 18+ hour day on Mem. Day doing a Jack White show.  May brew today, maybe later next week.  I've got an APA grist ground and I'll dig through the hop freezer and try to use up a bunch.
I don't understand it, why would you spend that much time getting a show set up?  Are you building the stage too? Are you setting up all their gear? Loading and unloading all their gear?

Load in for the PA starts at 8 AM.  Band gear comes at 10 AM.  Lighting will run from 8 AM til late afternoon.  Sound check and rehearsal will be from early afternoon til maybe 4-5 PM.  Dinner, then a 3 hour show starting at 8.  Loadout from 11P-2A.  Pretty typical schedule for a big rock show.

Now that's just ridiculous for one guy to have to endure.

Now you've got me singing Jackson Browne "Stay Just a Little Bit Longer" for some reason.

I forgive you.  Stagehands HATE that song!  Jackson Browne never had to stick around for the load out!

I've got a mild I need to bottle, if I can make time. I'm going to Revolution Brewing's grand opening party tomorrow night. They've been a brewpub for about 2 years and are kicking off their new production brewery with a bang -- 16 of their beers and 16 guest taps, food and bands. Should be a great time.
It's such a fine line between stupid and clever.

I'll be brewing a cream ale on Friday with some dregs off a bottle of Spotted Cow. It's a shame we can't get it outside of Wisconsin.
Beer is like music. I don't have a favorite. I'll take a well-made example of any style!

Gonna make something "unique"... a Sweetwater IPA clone with rye and lager yeast - an India Pale Lager (IPL).  I'll dry hop heavily at the end of the ferment and throw a couple ounces of dry hops in a muslin sack into the keg to compensate for the lengthened ferment.  Anyone else ever made an IPL?  What's your experience with it if so?

No time for brewing, but I do have some packaging and keg cleaning to take care of.
