No brewing here. kegging up a hopless heather ale, and maybe some old ale, and maybe helping a buddy keg up some kolsch.
preparing though. next week my wife and son are off to the east coast for 10 days and I have two brews planned, an oatmeal raisin cookie stout for xmas and a partigyle barley wine special bitter.

No brewing, this is Oktoberfest keg draining weekend. I just ordered 25 German Brats, 25 Smoked Brats, 25 Hungarian Brats, 25 Weiners, 10 pounds of German potato salad and 60 milk rolls to go with the 6 kegs and 75 or so family and friends.
Cheers!

The weather is cool. I might do an ordinary bitter at the request of my loving wife. A Saison will follow.

No brewing for a while, just drinking. Got a bunch of beers all just ready to drink, and my IIPA will be bubbling away for another week or so before I start the dry-hopping schedule. Got a mead to rack to tertiary and sweeten, and a Barleywine to bottle, but no big rush on either at the moment.

No brewing this weekend. I need to keg the dry stout I brewed a couple of weeks ago and maybe bottle the wee heavy I brewed in April. And I have some kegs to clean if I get to it.

No brewing this weekend, but I kegged a rye IPA last night and am almost done with the boil on my hefe for our Oktoberfest. In 20 minutes I should be drinking my traditional celebratory "beer is finished" bottle of beer.

I finally have time to brew in September. Better late than never. I'll be brewing altbier. Going to try to brew pretty consistently on the weekends in October to make up for my lack of supply.

A Belgian Dark Strong for me - brewing up this while showing my brother around our hobby.
He's a chef - so I think we'll be making some type of carmelized sugar source for the beer. Flambe'd raisins, perhaps? I've got some Craisins and dried cherries also.

The plan is a Flanders red. And to keg and carbonate my Berliner Weisse. Doppelbock is still fermenting happily away at 46F. Oktoberfest is ready to drink.
