Well, I will say it.  Feel free to lock the thread or do whatever is necessary.

While freedom of speech exists in this country, that does not mean you can say whatever you want, wherever you want with no consequences.  I don't run this board, therefore I have to abide by their rules.  If I don't like them, I either need to ask them about changing some of the rules or just leave.

Whether he can see it or not, Brewboy is a lightning rod for controversy wherever he goes.  You can hide behind if you don't like what I say don't read it, sorry if you don't agree with my opinion, this is the pub forum where anything should go, blah, blah, blah.  Bottom line BB, you live to stir the pot and piss people off.  I saw it at TB and now here - SSDD.  Somehow, you don't see this and feel you are being persecuted by everyone.  I have done my best to ignore this at TastyBrew and then finally left that forum.  Now you bring it over here.  It's the same behavior over and over.  Yes, I can ignore you and for the most part I do.  At some point we all feel we need to speak up.  I will choose to continue to frequent this board and if you choose to that's fine as well.  Your ranting has grown tiresome.  I can honestly say that on all the message boards I frequent, I can't recall running into anyone like you that constantly wants to piss people off for no apparent reason.

There's no such thing as "freedom" and there never was.  You're free to do whatever Great Leader tells you.  They really want you to believe that you're free, but trust me, you aren't.  Go watch a Bill Hicks standup bit, he'll tell you all about it.

Now why don't you all wipe off your mascara smeared eyes and get back to talking about beer?

Sorry to see you go, Loopy.  Maybe you'll be back someday.   :)

Cheers

I'm asking one more time to keep this on topic and say goodbye and good luck to Loopy.

I don't necessarily read brewing forums as much as I used to just because I've already learned a lot.  My beer brewing takes less time now as well, but I still love beer and will be making it for quite a while!

I'm actually amazed at how much I still have to learn. I enjoy the forum and waste way too much time on them.

And don't even try and bring up cooking!

Hey, why don't we all head over to a political forum, and start a beer thread. See if maybe we can ourselves banned.  ;D

Yeah Loopy, I think you'll have just as much fun making great food!  I looked at some of your old posts, and they made me regret this diet I'm on...  If you cook like that, you don't have to brew, people will bring the beer to you!

Take care Loopy, and don't sell all your brewing equipment... you'll want it again one day.   ;)
