Seriously.

I wish the Cards would have won, but when your offense is shut down and you're going against Big Papi batting over .700, well, it's just not your time.

As good as Papi was, pitching wins championships. That's why I wouldn't be surprised to see a rematch next year. There was some great pitching on both sides this series. Sox were just able to string their hits together when it counted. And Uehara was un-freaking-believable. Papi was undoubtedly the World Series MVP, but if they gave one for the whole postseason, Koji deserves it.
