Ta-dah

For me, I've gotta get ready for the SCHF and the fiancee is busy the whole weekend, so.. it's time for marathon brewdays.

Not entirely certain what the plan is, but there will definitely be at least 2 beers out the door:

Spring Saison with Citra
Hop Woo IPA+
Drew Beechum - Maltosefalcons.com

Burbling:
Gnome is in the Details
*Experimental Brewing - The Book*
Tap:
Peanut Butter Jelly Time
Tupelo Mead
Farmhouse Brett Saison

This weekend will be a German pils.  Need to keep that lager yeast turning over, so I'll do a lager every 4- 6 weeks.  I'll probably keg the hefeweizen I did a couple of weeks ago, too.

I finally get to answer something other than "NOTHING."  I am currently in the process of 10 gallons of Bavarian Hefeweizen from NB.  I am splitting the batch between two fermenters- one with 3068, and the other with WLP300.  I am not anticipating much difference, but I figured it's worth a shot.

Wasn't going to brew anything this weekend but I have a little time, and empty fermenter, and a bunch of random leftover ingredients from the last few batches to use up.  So a Cleanup Ale it is!

You and me both

Mine has taken a shine to a FWH Pils and wont leave that one alone but I take that as a blessing.
Amazing what can be tolerated in the name of beers she loves  ;D

Looking at another FWH Pils but might put more late additions in this time

This will be my largest quantity brewed at one session (may take 2 days)
I am stepping up a starter for 15 gallons of Herman Holtrop's Rochefort recipe.
I need to get this beer fermenting because I have recieved my solera barrel and
to prevent it from drying out, I need to get liquid back into the oak.

I will be utilizing all of my fermentation vessels to capacity...when primary is completed
or nearly so, I plan to innoculate with Brett Lambicus and some sour cherries and put
it into the oak cask.

Methinks it looks to be a busy weekend at the ole homebrewery.  :P

My weekend came early! I had a personal day to use up and the house to myself, so yesterday I brewed a milk stout and a clone of Bell's Two-Hearted Ale. The house smells great! Will probably be late May before I have another brew day, but I sure enjoyed this one.

Will be doing a helles in next week for a company picnic at the end of May.

Can't wait to see if WIC works for me...

I am planning on brewing a new IPA with Citra and Simcoe finishing hops and maybe an Imperial Stout to age on oak chips for the fall.

My next door neighbor, who is an extract brewer, wanted to go through the AG process, so I was forced to brew for a second time in 3 days.  We did a Phat Tyre with US 05 today.  Oh the burden of brewing sweet, sweet beer!
