I have to say Jimi has been a huge influence on me as a musician.  I have a real appreciation for his musical contributions.  Imagine what he would be doing now if he were still alive.

I think every person who plays guitar since Jimi came along has been influenced by him to some extent.

I saw him February 17, 1968 in Ft Worth. Opened with Sargent Peppers LHCB. My first and my most favorite concert.

I might have to get that. The samples sound pretty nice.

Imagine what he would be doing now if he were still alive.

I kind of don't want to.  Trotting out another regional variety nostaglia tour with Ringo Starr's All Starr Band maybe?

But seriously if he had survived and lived to do a collaboration with Bootsy Collins that would have been wild.

Wow, Jimi and Bootsy just boggles the imagination...

Anybody catch Bootsy on Food Network's "Dinner Impossible"?

Bootsy and Jimi...maybe Keith Moon on the drums...or John Bonham would be great as well.

Keith Moon has gotta be about the most creative rock drummer in history.  That guy was out there!

Watched his Woodstock performance last night. He is definitely missed.
Beer, it does a body good.
