My Water Report, 300 feet deep private well in Adamstown MD USA (located 5 miles south of Frederick MD) - July 2021

From Ward Labs:
Total Dissolved Solids 274
pH 7.8

Sodium Na                    12
Potassium K                    3
Calcium Ca                    74.5
Magnesium Mg               6
Total Hardness CaCO3   213
Sulfate SO4-S                8
Chloride Cl                     32
Carbonate CaCO3        <1.0
Bicarbonate CaCO3         192
Total Alkalinity               158
Total Phosphorus P         0.10
Total Iron Fe                  0.21


I'm currently an Extract w/ Steepers brewer, doing 25%-60% volume boils, topping off with Distilled.

Preferred brews are :  Hoppy Pale Ales, semi-session-IPAs, Hefe's, Munton's Pre-Hopped Cans.

With extract you might be better off using all distilled

Yes, try using all RO,/distilled. Try adding a tsp of gypsum/5 gallons in the hoppy beers. Don't add anything for the Hefeweizen.
