What exactly are you planning to do with that bad boy...or did I miss that part?

We're having a concrete slab poured.  They didn't want to grade it by hand, so they used that.  Now they just need to wait for good weather to pour it, hopefully sometime before May.

The key is totally in it (it took me a while to find it, I didn't think to look up), but now it's dark anyway.  Someone will be by sometime in the morning to get it.  Opportunity wasted, although I did let the kids sit in it

Eh, I suggest you leave the keys in it, and then take the wife out for dinner...... on me. In fact I'll stop by and drop off the money. Just ignore the flatbed trailer behind my truck....... Oh and act surprised when you get home and it's gone......

The keys are in it, it's not rented in my name, and I have no responsibility for it.  If you think you and your trailer can make it to Washington in the next 12 hours or so, I won't do anything to stop you from taking it.  But I don't think you'll even get to St. Louis in that time, and towing the trailer even Indy might be pushing it.

Your probably better off having not used it for anything.  If you've never run one, the first thing you learn is you have no rear visibility.  Any thing or anyone shorter than the engine will be invisible to you.  When/if you do run one, lock the kids (if they are small) in the house.  A friend of mine accidentally backed into tree just as his nephew ran around the tree on the farm.  Farm equipment is too dangerous to just play with.

There have been many times I would have loved to have one available for projects.  They work very well.  Just be careful with them.

Too bad you didn't take it for a spin. I'll be they're fun to drive, but yes, as with anything, I'm sure they can be dangerous.

First think I learned about bobcats was where the key was. Second thing I learned is that they wouldn't start without the restraint bar thingy locked down. Third thing I learned was how jerky they were if you don't keep a light touch on the sticks. Fourth thing I learned is they tip over forwards faster than my uncles at an open bar reception.

They're cool and all, but I always felt they were persnickity little things for no good reason. Seems like a front end loader on a tractor would be better for most applications.

The problem with a front end loader on a tractor is that you can't see it like you can on a Bobcat.That visual advantage is probably what makes them easy to tip over.

I've never operated one, to be honest. I've used bobcats and front-end loaders, but all of my tractor experience was from behind on the hay wagon.

Wait, that sounds wrong when I put it that way.
