Paducah Beer Werks Traditional English Pale Ale | Standard/Ordinary Bitter
- 6.38 lb 2-row malt
- 1.31 lb Maris Otter malt
- 7 oz Munich malt (light)
- 6 oz Crystal malt (45L)
- 3 oz Pale Wheat
- 0.3 oz Nugget hops (45 min)
- 0.3 oz Cascade hops (30 min)
- Irish Moss (15 min)
- 0.8 oz Cascade hops (0 min)
- 0.8 oz Citra hops (0 min)
- White Labs WLP060 American Ale Blend
- Original Gravity: 1.053
- Boil Time: 75 minutes
Mash grains at 152° F for 60 minutes. Sparge at 160° F. Conduct a 60 minute boil, following the additions as listed in the ingredients. Chill and pitch yeast.
Ferment at 65-68° F. Primary fermentation should take around 7 days. Cool crash for 7 days at 35° F. Carbonate to 2.2 volumes of CO2.
