This cyser recipe, developed by Joe Formanek for the 2002 National Homebrew Competition, took home bronze all the way back to Bollingbrook, Ill. in the Mead/Cyser category. Hints of apple, light acidity, and tannins bring out the sultry side of this cyser, while the honey rounds out a smooth finish of sweetness.
