This post is from Friday and it's Monday now. Let's see if I can remember that far back...
Friday: My flawed Pilsner (I'll call it a Belgian Blond Pilsner so the esters make sense).
Saturday: Stella Artois at lunch. I actually enjoyed it. White wine with dinner.
Sunday: Saison de Dottignies

I'm already looking forward to one (or more) of my black lagers tonight.

That's what you're drinking... really?  Are you still in Belgium?

This beer F-ing ROCKS!

Tried a bomber, then went back and bought a case of bombers.  Lucky thing my local beer store has 20% off on Fridays!

hey cool.

My boss just got back from a couple days in ft bragg and brought me back a 750 of this. Looking forward to it even more now!

**EDIT** I just took a second look at the above label and it didn't appear to be quite the same. Turns out the bottle I have is brewed at North Coast. it looks slightly different in that the text is blue and the northcoast logo is in the middle.

yesterday it was 1 glass of dortmunder:

and several of IPA:

best part was sharing them with my brother, who's never had my beer before and is a big craft beer geek like us.

I didn't have any yesterday, but Friday night I had something like just over a gallon of beer over 5 or so hours...over did it a bit. Was at Backpocket Brewing in Coralville, IA, drinking helles, dunkel, peated bock, one of the bartender's homebrewed oatmeal stout, then went home and drank some Spaten premium and my black IPA.
Needless to say, I'm taking a bit of a break from beer...
Funny thing is (or not), I didn't feel like crap the next day. I brewed the next night and had a few beers. They didn't taste very good, but still did...Gotta keep that sh!te in check.

Did you just find him or what?  Even I have had your beer and I'm not related.
My brother and I have set up an exchange of home brews between Philly and Tampa.  It's been fun, especially since he mostly makes IPA's.

Prob not the answer you expected but i feel i can say this here: Long story short - my ex-wife isolated me from my entire family within the first year of being married ( which I know I am to blame for allowing to happen, don't get me wrong).  But now that I have that behind me I'm gaining my life back, including my brothers and mom.

Aside from my old man's funeral I haven't seen him in 9 years.  Very happy we're changing that.

Ill definitely be sending him beer more often now!

Tonight was a baltic porter before dinner and then a bourbon barrel imperial stout while watching the yankees lose.

What? What's wrong with that?

Well I had the North Coast version of this last night and I must say it's really really nice. Reminds me of a big foot with a couple years on it. It's not actually quite that bitter even and the malt is nice and present but not overwhelming to the hops. really well done simple barley wine.

Bringing a Cornie keg of Melmucarbo Pils (Melanoiden, Munich, Cara Pils and Pilsner malts; German Select Hops; 34/70 yeast) to a post-golf cookout tonight.  Each year a few weeks after the solstice occurs, our 9-hole golf group (a dozen or so guys) gets together and we have some homebrew from my system after golfing.  I'll bottle a few others off the tap to bring a sampler pack, too.  Typically they are well received - let's face it, free homebrew is pretty high up there on the "what's not to like" scale.  It gives most of them a break from the BMC.
