Cascade, MI just east of Grand Rapids. Well Water; no idea of the depth. I was really looking forward to the Ward's report. Now I kinda wish it had been lost in the mail. Ignorance was bliss. Glad I didn't drop any on my foot -

pH 9.5
Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) Est, ppm 389
Electrical Conductivity, mmho/cm 0.65
Cations / Anions, me/L 6.8 / 7.0

Sodium, Na 60
Potassium, K 7
Calcium, Ca 13
Magnesium, Mg 40
Total Hardness, CaCO3 199
Nitrate, NO3-N 8.8 (SAFE)
Sulfate, SO4-S 12
Chloride, Cl 99
Carbonate, CO3 37
Bicarbonate, HCO3 97
Total Alkalinity, CaCO3 141
Total Phosphorus, P 0.47
Total Iron, Fe < 0.01

I had no idea drinking water could have a pH of 9.5.

That looks like an excerpt from your annual Consumer Confidence Report.

You're correct, that is not what you need.

Call them and see if they have the brewing ions you want. Be nice, and offer a 6 pack as a good will gesture.

If they don't have it or refuse, there is always Ward Labs. You can keep the results you paid for private.  :)

That's exactly what we have here in Carlisle too. I called they couldn't give me much of what we needed so I sent a sample off to Ward.

Offering a bribe to a public sector official is pretty risky behavior, as is recommending doing so.

No dice. Called the borough and they said they don't trade the "secondary" stuff.  Only bit I got was we have "very soft water" a 7.5 PH, and 10ppm on calcium.
