The suggestions to leave out the caramunich started as soon as I started asking questions prior to brewing it. Fingers crossed for these 2 batches running the fast (er) lager method for themgrow enough yeast?

It was well within Mark's order of magnitude as compared to yeastcalc.com & mrmalty.com
I am having one right now dated 8-11-15. I like this beer and I usually find U.S. O'Fest beers a little too malty, kind of the same malt flavor as an Irish Red if you know what I mean. This is more bread crust and considerably lighter in body than most.I'd say the color is light, maybe 6. Dark gold would be a close descriptor.
told ya. god that looks good - no fair, i'm a good 4 hours before i have one...
in other seasonal creep news, my friend just ordered a keg of Celebration and was told it may be in by next week...
So having a nice 22oz ($6) SN o'fest on tap right now....totally different beer vs what I had in the 6/30 bottles. This is much more appealing and balanced, and no harsh bite at the end. Little darker also it appears. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Tasting all this years fest beers... Just had victory and left hand...warsteiner and Great Lakes up next.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
