Thanks guys. That is a "brewtan" beer too so it's very smooth and soft and the grain, hop and yeast character is coming across very fine and clear... that is, if you believe brewtan does what it says it does.
On the Barke (which a German brewer has told me is pronounced Bark-uh), I was at one of my LHBSs and the woman there had me taste a few of the Barke kernels. Wow, what a great flavor. Sort of Grape Nuts with bread and honey. I think I have bought about 60-70 pounds of the stuff over the past few months and anywhere I use pilsner for the majority of the grist, I use this grain. I like my Weyermann floor-malted and my Best Malz pils but this stuff is better. Cheers.
