Helles (Decoction Mash) 1st time implementing a decoction mash which I did enjoy! Going to do a side by side with a step mash recipe (same recipe) BUT did a side by side with a commercial weihenstephaner helles and I’m not saying it was an identical match by any stretch of the imagination but it is damn close and damn on spot style wise. Happy right now!!

Looks awesome! Nice job! Do you use any finings?

Semi-sweet passionfruit mead. It's my first mead in years, and it is my best batch by far. I'm glad I got back into it.
Nice! Welcome back to it, I recently did a huckleberry mead with huckleberries I picked and honey from my bees. It turned out not bad but I think could have been better. That looks nice though, did you back sweeten at all or is it a dry mead?

Thank you! I do use finings. BTB in the boil and Biofine in the keg. I can't remember who suggested using BTB but I like the results I get from using it.
Cheers!

2nd pour of my oatmeal stout.

1.048.  Fermented on top of my session ipa yeast cake.  Served off my beer engines. Northern spout with sparkler.

Now contrast with my 1.045 session IPA served using my short spouts. 3 oz of dry hops in the keg give it that slight haze appearance

A day late but the pic was taken yesterday. I hope you are all feeling well today. (Don't tell anyone but that's actually an English Porter)
