I've tired of all the BS on many forums over the years. About the only ones I frequent anymore are here and BeerSmith, which is pretty slow most of the time. I do drop into the homebrewing sub-Reddit as well. Worst thing there is all of the noobs that never read anything about brewing and think the forum is the only resource in the world. They can be very entertaining though, so it's not a total waste of time.
Beer is my bucket list,

Denny,
I clciked the url and looked at https://brewbrothers.freeforums.net/board/1/brewhouse

Seems most of the posts are old unless the "Last Post" info is wrong.

a while ago i encountered a forum for probrewers (if you google probrewers forum it will come up). it is not super active, and is obviously for brewers doing this for profit, but they have a high level of technical expertise/knowledge in answering some questions, though at the same time i've seen many threads filled with misconceptions that homebrewers have as well. anyway, its interesting stuff

Shouldn't be more than a day or 2. Maybe I posted the wrong link.

Some of the facebook groups are ok but any forum outside of a small community is going to be full of new brewers asking basic questions and a handful of assholes. I don't mind the newbie questions I'm just past the point of wanting to answer those questions all the time myself. Over time it seems we've lost a lot of the more tenured posters around the various places. It happens but the overall quality of content feels like it's more newbie questions than deep discussions or explorations of novel subjects.

I don't spend anywhere near as much time on homebrewing forums these days which has more to do with the direction beer in general has gone in the past six or so years than the occupants of the forums. I'm not interested enough in hazy IPA, or IPA in general, quick souring methods, kveik, processed hop products, fruit purees, or pastry stouts, enough to brew them or talk about them in any detail. I still like perusing to see what is going on and new products but don't post anywhere near as much.
Heck yeah I blog about homebrewing: Brain Sparging on Brewing

HBT is the best these days. Ignore the rare aholes, most folks on there are great.

Using my own personal filter, I find that all forums have something to offer.  But I find it easy to recognize - and thus tune out - posters who are there for themselves, ie. the “@ssho!es”.   Sure, I may miss some useful tip or a bit of helpful knowledge along the way because I skip a few posts, but this filter keeps me focused on what is important (beer) and not on any personal bullish!t.

Cheers!

Agreed - Although this one is one of the best for technical info IMO

It looks like everything is working and I see Steve as a new member.  The forum is smaller and slower but we have a good group here.  Anyone and everyone is welcome.  The forum is active enough where you will not see days and days go by without a post but the traffic is not the same as here, clearly. Many thanks to Denny for mentioning it.  Cheers Beerheads.

A day without beer is like... just kidding, I have no idea.
