If I am reading correctly, perhaps NOT the case after eating Thanksgiving dinner ;-), growing location comes into play. Mt. Hood ARE NOT = Hallertau. Last minute substitue, maybe.

Didn't intend to suggest Mt Hood were Hallerertauer Mittlefrueth.
It was a suggestion to consider American Noble like hops as a substitute, if you reside in the U.S..

I have great success ordering hops after harvest, and are received within a few days.
This year 1 lb each of Tettnanger, and Mt hood were ordered, split into 2 oz's, vacuum sealed then frozen.
These hops will last me until next years harvest, no more hop drama.

I've seen hops being sold from 2017-2019 harvests, who would possibly use these ?, not I.

Yeah, it's a tiny little hole-in-the-wall, and it doesn't remind me at all of the show. But the location is great, and the food is decent. I often find myself stopping there with the family for a quick lunch when we're in the area of the Common.
