I have mostly normal pint glasses, but I prefer the nonic.  (I only have two)

I have some pint and half-pint Nonics,  a few dimpled mugs, and some of straight sided small 8 to 10 ounce glasses...and that's all I need for any kind of beer (well, except for a big brandy snifter or oversized wine glass, either of which I like for my year aged  Old Ale/Burtons...kind of makes cracking one of those open an 'occasion'  ;D).

As an artist I can appreciate the fine design work on some of the gimmick glasses, and I also recognize (and occasionally applaud) the merchandising savvy they represent... but really don't need them to enjoy a beer.

I just went to half-pint nonics from the half-litre Weihenstephaner glasses I had.

Anyone have a particular online store that they order glasses from?

Here's one that was previously mentioned.

Any others?

Sur la Table

British imperial pint glasses

They were the cheapest I could find for nonic styles. (unless I bought a case elsewhere)

This is great! I'm going to order some of the half-pint nonic glasses.

Here, sign up and get another 6% off. Or not, I use this site for everything. It's just an affiliate site - you link thru them and they get a cut and in return give you a cut of their cut. Gets me back a couple hundred a year just from my online purchases.

disclosure: I would get maybe a percent or so too. It's a pyramid scheme - but nothing shady I can see. No scams, been using them for over a year with no incident.

I liked glasses from New Holland Brewing:
Not sure what kind it is but they have 16 and 20 oz.

I had 16 oz once and I loved it.

I also have a stash of Czech beer glasses.
And because they are from thin glass they eventually break.

Like everybody, I have a massive collection of glassware that I don't have room for and 90% of which rarely gets used. For our wedding my wife and I had a few cases of Willibecher's made up with our brewery logo on them to give away as favors. Well needless to say, we still have probably 30 of them - so those get used a lot. Plus they're rad.  ;D

I would recommend checking out discount type stores from time to time.  I have gotten nonic glasses at TJ Maxx. before.  Of course they also usually have weizen vases (labeled as pilsner) and other more common glass types fairly cheap.

I have broken more glasses than most of you have ever owned - the possible exception being drew.

Remind me to not ask you over to my house for a pint.
And to stay away from my glass carboys, too. :-[

I have probably broken more glass carboys than any of you have owned either.  ;) Have me over anyway and red plastic "party cups" will suite me fine.  :)
