Finally..sun and in the 50's.  The weatherman is even spreading rumors of 60+ for next week.  :)

Supposed to be pretty rainy here the next few days but right now its 55 and sunny, gorgeous day!

It's 56F now with light winds and hoefully the rain holds out as I'll be at Citizen's Bank Park watching the Phillies play the Mets tonight.

Heavy thunderstorming down here at sea level.  Snowing up on the summits of Mauna Loa & Mauna Kea

Lost power twice already to lightning strikes.  Woo Hoo!

Just like a typical summer afternoon in Central Florida.

Lucky ting my radio has battery backup.  Good game playing out in San Diego...

It was sunny and warm enough when I got home that I mowed my front lawn.  The graupel and rain started before I was done.  Now it's 35F and snowing. :-\

I know.  Crazy, huh?  It was either snowing today or POURING.  On & off.  It hailed hard at my house last night for about a half hour or so.  Gonna be nasty again today.

We had a cold front here Tuesday night when it got down to the 50's after it rained just about all day.  Today is sunny and pleasant, hardly a cloud in the sky.
Thunder snow is pretty unusual even for Seattle isn't it?

Snow is unusual for Seattle, more so in April.  Add in the thunder . . . crazy.  I don't think I've ever seen a day of weather like yesterday.

It almost always is thunderstorms that deposit snow on top of Mauna Loa and Mauna Kea.  Five years ago there was snow up there until mid June.
