« on: October 31, 2011, 07:23:57 pm »
AHA Learn to Homebrew Day is Saturday, November 5.

Whether you've never brewed, wished you brewed more often or are a seasoned homebrewer - be sure to pick up some ingredients at your local homebrew supply shop and get brewing!

Learn to Homebrew is full of homebrewing information you can use to make your first batch. Visit the Learn to Homebrew Day page to find all kinds of helpful information about homebrewing beer.

Brewing Sites
Host your own brewing site or find one in your area. Either way, the AHA Forum is the place to find information about Learn to Homebrew Day sites.

If you're hosting your own site, use our Learn to Homebrew Day resources to help promote the event.

Post Photos
Be sure to take lots of pictures during your brew session. Then, post them to the AHA Facebook page. Let's see all those happy brewers in action!

I'll be there!
With bells on.
They'll hear me coming....

To celebrate 40 years of homebrewing (as of July of this year), this weekend  I'll brew the 2012 batch of my  annual Christmas beer a full 1 year-plus in advance (I usually do it between February and April).
It will be the 20th year for this particular brew to contain a 10 to 15% addition of some of the previous year's batch.
The 2012 will spend an entire year wood-aging.

I just hope I can keep from sampling it too much during the course of the year.
