Right on schedule Drew. :)

Last night I prepared a starter, as I have a Munich Helles scheduled for Sunday. The burners will be burning at 8am EST Sunday 1/15.

I'm going to try a low-gravity Munich Dunkel and see how it turns out.  It'll be the first time for me using a no sparge.

Brewing an English IPA with all Fuggle hops sprawled out over a bunch of additions. Yum

Made a starter last night for a german pilsner and a munich dunkel.  Assuming they're ready will be brewing both on Sunday or Monday.

Oh man Ive done both of those in one day, both with triple decoctions and 90 minute boils. That made for the longest brew day in the history of brew days. 14 hours...i cringe at the thought! lol Good luck

Hey Dave...what temp do you ferment your lager starters? Just curious.

I have Monday off (and no one else in my house does) so I'm planning on brewing Denny's Rye IPA and a Koelsch.  Picked up the yeast over my lunch hour today and I'll prep the starters tonight.

Brew days that don't affect the schedules of 5 other people are the best brew days.  8^)

I'm back to Blighty this weekend, after a stretch in the US. In order to satisfy my need for US hops, I'll be brewing a session IPA.

I'm Home Alone this Saturday, so I am brewing a 3-gallon batch of Cal Common (starting the starter tonight). It's a rebrew of one I did in November that I really liked.

After three years of homebrewing (almost to the day) I also am for the first time using an immersion chiller as opposed to ice baths. I don't know why it took me that long.

I've got a porter to bottle and I'm thinking about an IPA on Monday while I'm home alone. I've got fresh yeast slurry and bulk grains and hops, so I don't even have to decide yet. I love buying in bulk.

No brewing, unless I have to take heroic actions to save my super saison, it started at 1.090 and last week had stopped all outward signs of fermentation at 1.050 so Here I am a week later, going to take a gravity reading and *fingers crossed* find that the gravity is indeed still dropping. I've got the heater in the bathroom with it and beer temp is up to 72* wish I could get it hotter but it's got to be around 80+ in there so hopefully it will continue to rise.

I've been invited to watch an all grain batch be made, so this will be a learning weekend for me.
