It's my new ride. It's sooo cute.

Grrr

2012 VW Golf TDI clean diesel.

Unfortunately I have not been able to take it for a ride as I am on baby duty and I did not have the car seat! My wife gets home at 10 and I will take it for a spin.

Yeah I love the TDIs. I just sold my 2003 Jetta TDI. Posted on craigslist and had like 6 people all trying to make sure THEY got the car within an hour. popular cars! I ended up selling it for like 400 over book sight unseen.

My wife drives the 2010 Jetta TDI sportswagon. We are a VW family.

I knew there was something I liked about you Jonathan. My first vehicle was a GTI (graduation present) and my daily driver is an 07 Rabbit. I am firmly in the VW camp.

Fantastic gift. Now with the fuel savings you can finally get that Thermapen. ;D

What happens when gas prices go up to $10/gallon? I don't think he'll have to worry about someone smacking it to him then ;-)

My parents have a diesel Jetta. That thing ROCKS! It climbs mountains like a champ, great on gas, looks awesome. Congrats on the new ride man! That beauty will serve you well :)

Are you thinking of making your own diesel?

I've never done it - but I've read/been told German diesels (VW, BMW, Benz) are all great candidates for conversion.

Well happy fathers day! Nice ride. I'm seriously considering diesel for my next car.
