NHC Direct links email
« on: February 26, 2013, 11:05:42 am »
Hey,

I got an email last week about the NHC entry opening today (Woo Hoo) and it mentioned that we should get an email today with the list of direct links to the various sites. I havn't recieved that yet has anyone else?

Any idea from the AHA crew when we might expect that? is it going to be a 'last minute before opening thing'?

I suspect you'll see it just before the entry window opens, maybe a 1/2 hour or so.

The links are also supposed to be updated on the judging region page, but based on what happened on the hotel registration day (links didn't show up until host hotel was almost sold out ), I'd like to have the email "in hand"

Hi guys,

The e-mail with the links was sent out at 11:00 AM MST.  This should give everyone enough time to upgrade their browser and have their member number and entry information handy when the online registration opens at 1:00 PM MST.

Good luck in the competition!

Cheers,
Janis

But mine has to go through the midwest and all that nasty winter weather...hope it gets here in time.

Just kidding...I just received it.  Thanks Janis, and best of luck over the next couple months.  Hopefully the changes made this year make it easier for you to coordinate this enormous competition!!!

Good luck everyone!

Janis,

If I bring you flowers a beer (what was I thinking?) next time I'm in town will you forgive me?

With all this talk about updating Internet Explorer to at least IE8, I assume Firefox will not have any issues?

Are you crazy?  That e-mail went out to EVERYBODY who has ever contacted the AHA.  It's a huge list.  Check your Spam/Junk folder. Or, I suppose I can post it here...

29A American-Belgian Style Ale (Custom Style)

I don't see this mentioned in the rule changes, and don't recall it last year...
