partigyle beer from a very big one. done with WLP001. effectively free other than the cost of 1oz of falconers flight hops. about 4% ABV. i did not add minerals to it and just threw the water in at high mash temp for ~20 mins. using leftovers and its highly drinkable if somewhat plain

Okay, my apologies. I'm not really a camera guy but I love good photographs and I have been playing with the camera settings on my Pixel and I really like how some of these shots come out.  The way the beer and the texture of the table is clear but then there is this depth of field behind it.  I found a setting to do this and I dig it.

Thank you.  I know I'm clogging up the PIC thread but here's another one.  It's fun to make beer porn.  :D

I have about 10 of your pics saved in a folder that I use for my laptop wallpaper.

Thanks

A column in Zymurgy descibing the brew you made with a pic is a quick thought.

Can I ask, which Pixel do you have, and which setting?  I'm still on a Pixel 3a, but my wife insists on upgrading me to a 6 pretty soon...

Your photos ARE damn good.  I wish I could taste the beer though...

Oh the beers are poopy.  :D  I kid.  I love my beer.  I have absolutely no training on cameras or photography though.  I have the Pixel 6A and I think I stumbled onto this by putting it in PORTRAIT mode instead of CAMERA mode.  When you take the picture, the background does not look blurred like it does above... it's only after you take the pic that this happens.  Not sure which Pixels have this setting.  I had the 3A and it may be my favorite phone of all time.  Truly great phone.
