I was PM'd about how to and To send a recipe from BeerSmith to a friend
To send a BeerSmith recipe right click on the recipe in the brewlog (list of recipes) and select "export as"
the middle option gives several options, select "text"

better, have him get BeerSmith and send him the BeerSmith file format (.bsm file) (same method as above) and he can than manipulate the recipe

Also available are Beer XML file format and web or custom file format.

Hey Fred, I just bought Beersmith, are there any upgrades for detailing my equipment... coleman extreme 70qt. etc.  I'm just playing around with it now.

There are no upgrades or addons for equipment, but it should be quite simple to add your own
