It is 109 degrees here in the valley.
Everything is a month early this year. February felt like March. March like April, etc. June has been averaging 85F+ and we have gotten almost no rain. Can't wait for July to be the oven of August and probably no rain then either.
I love these blustery, cold, almost-bare November days: real fall weather for my part of the world (Western Massachusetts)--unlike last year's El Nino and its 70-degree days. Besides, without a freezer to ferment in, I depend on a cold house for the Scottish Ale I plan to brew in a couple of days and--in December/January--a Common and a couple of lagers.
