it actually hit 102 in Burlington VT yesterday.

Giant thunderstorms last night cooled things off a bit though for today. back to normal mid 70s

It is 109 degrees here in the valley.
Hit 84 here by the water. I came pretty close to turning on the AC.
Ha!  We've had the A/C on since April.  Today is supposed to be a little cooler than of late with a high of only 90 and humidity at 80%.
It's a wet heat.
Lived in Dallas for 3.5 years, so I'm very familiar with constant AC.

Everything is a month early this year.  February felt like March.  March like April, etc.  June has been averaging 85F+ and we have gotten almost no rain.  Can't wait for July to be the oven of August and probably no rain then either.

The farmers are starting to get worried.  without rain, there won't be much of a crop, any crop.  Glad I do IT work and don't have to live with the stress of farming.

It was 99, then we had the most insane thunderstorm I've ever seen (with tornado watch), and now it's 77.   :o

Same thing here. The locals are predicting a hotter than normal summer.

Pretty extreme temp swing, even in the Midwest. It was a record 71F yesterday, cold front blew through last night , and we have a rainy, very windy 37F high today. It's like a punch in the face.

Cold, rainy, miserable and just above freezing with snow coming tomorrow. Good day to sit by the fire and have some homebrew

It got cold in a hurry last night. We hit freezing briefly last night. This is our first feel of anything resembling winter.

We'll get another cool night and my wife is going out for a friend's birthday. I'm going to take another swing at a spontaneous fermentation.

The last few days have been around 60 and sunny here in Massachusetts. I'll take that. I still have kale, beets, cabbage, cauliflower, collards, carrots, leeks, and celery in the garden and a cold frame bursting with salad greens and lettuce.

The temp here dropped from 68F to 8F in less than 48 hours late last week, kind of tough to get acclimated to winter when it does that. We have seen greater temperature fluctuations in less time in the past, and a few years ago we had 30F below during the 2nd week of November, so I guess I shouldn't snivel.
I spent most of my money on beer, tools and guns, the rest I foolishly squandered on stupid stuff!

I love these blustery, cold, almost-bare November days: real fall weather for my part of the world (Western Massachusetts)--unlike last year's El Nino and its 70-degree days. Besides, without a freezer to ferment in, I depend on a cold house for the Scottish Ale I plan to brew in a couple of days and--in December/January--a Common and a couple of lagers.

Blustery is right. Saturday I was stacking firewood in shirtsleeves and Sunday it was snowing and cold. Quite a shock!
