Cease-fire in Libya

Not necessarily going to stay that way, but it's good enough for now... Maybe Ghadaffi got a glimpse of some of those shiny brand-new F-22s on the tarmac in Turkey...

That tiger blood ran cold I guess!  This is a nice, and somewhat unexpected bit of news.  Everybody over there RDWHAHB (tea I imagine...).  :D

But reports are that it's just lip service on Ghadaffi's part. The fighting continues...

Maybe we can get his tent this time.

They just used the ones that were past their expiration date anyway.

Today I heard that some of the Gulf states will be paying for a lot of it.  We'll see.
I bet now that there is some pushback most of Quadaffi's mercenaries will be headed home.  They signed on to attack peasants armed with pitchforks, not NATO ships and planes.

Is it just me or is there something seriously wrong with Ghadaffi's face? Like a face-lift gone bad. Or some weird bloating or overdone botox-collagen procedure. Yes Doctor. I want you to make me look like I'm about to go into anaphyletic shock.

Yes young Muammar, only with the dark side of the Force can you realize true power...

Some pretty amazing photos out there, like this one from Goran Tomasevic.

I was thinking the same thing. Mercenary rule # 1 Do NOT eff with the Americans.

These things never seem to stay air only operations for very long.

Maybe the rest of the world will put the boots on the ground this time.  Instead of gladly signing contracts for mineral rights and industrial sales while stating they don't have the support of their people to be able to contribute troops.
