About the Speakers

Meagen Anderson

Meagen Anderson, Founder & CEO

AFicioNAdo™ Certification Program

Meagen Anderson is a seasoned professional with 20 years of experience in leadership, business development, commercial strategy, and training. Her career journey has taken her through esteemed companies like Philip Morris USA, The Boston Beer Company, Kalsec, and NZ Hops Ltd, where she has honed her expertise in building teams, creating immersive sensory experiences, and forging meaningful connections and collaborations through the power of beverages.

Driven by a relentless pursuit of knowledge, Meagen has dedicated over 140 hours to sensory training with the esteemed Dr. Bill Simpson. This expertise has empowered her to develop sustainable formulations and commercial applications in a wide range of beverage industries, from beer to cannabis, and hops to functional drinks. Currently, she is spearheading business development efforts for cutting-edge cannabis beverage companies, including the groundbreaking Happi—an innovative hemp-derived functional beverage created by Lisa Hurwitz and Joe Reynolds, with patent-pending formulations poised for rapid expansion across the U.S.

But Meagen's journey doesn't stop there. In 2018, she experienced a life-altering transformation through the discovery of an ancient meditation technique. This revelation propelled her to explore the practical applications of consciousness technologies in both communities and organizations. Inspired by the possibilities of the alcohol-free (AF) and non-alcohol (NA) beverage segment, Meagen embarked on a personal milestone, celebrating 1,500 days of an alcohol-free lifestyle in 2023. Fueled by this journey, she founded the AFicioNAdo™ Certification Program—the world's first professional training and certification program for AF and NA beverages, encompassing verticals in NA beer, wine, spirits, and cannabis. In 2022, Meagen founded Transcending Trauma, which offers access to powerful meditation training and consciousness programs, providing support to those affected by gender-based trauma within the brewing industry and beyond.

With an MBA in sustainable business and certifications as a Certified Cicerone and Beer Judge Certification Program (BJCP) judge, Meagen's primary passion is in driving category growth across the AF and NA beverages category. Her problem-solving approach is rooted in creating sustainable business solutions that benefit people, the planet, and profits. As she divides her time between Kalamazoo, Michigan and Franklin Grove, Illinois, Meagen finds immeasurable joy in cherishing moments with her children and high school sweetheart. Today, her mission is to share the transformative power of education, meditation, fostering consciousness, and nurturing personal development and well-being throughout the world.
